Unfortunately there is still no word by Cycling74 on how to build C++ Max externals for the standalone version of Push 3. As I understand, Push 3 standalone uses a modified Linux OS - but only Windows and Mac are supported by the Max C++ SDK.
According to this link, Ableton is "working to resolve these compatibility issues":
